Carrick had proved that he deserved a starting place, maybe with Fletcher, who did not feature in Europe. Nani and Ronaldo should be out wide, unless Ferguson want to rest Ronaldo (Giggs or Park will take over) who had not been at his high standards recently.
Rooney and Tevez will resume their partnership upfront. Anderson may play if one of the strikers is rested.
