It shows that cheats don't win. Handball goal by Adebayor was cancelled out by handball of Gallas resultant penalty which was slotted in cooly by Ronaldo. A superb free ick by Hargreaves then won the match.
Van der Sar (8): Except for a little out of postion for the handball goal, he did well and made smart saves.
Brown (5.5): Had difficulty dealing with Van Persie, got better when Van Persie was subbed.
Ferdinand (8): Was in commanding form, except for the almost 'own goal'.
Pique (6.5): Did ok, good on the ball, but could be beaten by pace.
Evra (7): Attacked too much and neglect duty earlier, got better as the game went on.
Park (5.5): Lots of running and was made to play as lone striker at times. Ran out of steam.
Carrick (6.5): Played better than most pundits think, playing one-man midfield at times when Scholes went missing and Hargreaves too far upfield.
Hargreaves (7): Did well in attack, but did not helped out in defence at time. Scored a superb free-kick.
Scholes (3): Missing when the team needed him.
Ronaldo (6.5): Cool penalty, was guarded by at least 2 defenders during the game.
Rooney (8): Good attacking display, unlucky not to score.
Anderson (6) (sub Park 55) Brought energy initialy, but ran out of steam soon.
Tevez (6.5) (sub Scholes 55) His usualy efforts, but held the ball too long at times.
Giggs (5.5) (sub Hargreaves 89) Held the ball well for the last few minutes.
