Fulham 2 Utd 0

United's Premier League wobble continued at Fulham where the nine-man Reds suffered a nightmare at Craven Cottage. Paul Scholes was sent off for handling in the box after just 18 minutes and Danny Murphy scored the resulting penalty, with Zoltan Gera sealing victory for Fulham with a smart finish after 86 minutes. And to compound the Reds' misery substitute Wayne Rooney was sent off late on for a second yellow card.

I do not know about others, but isn't the ball too near to avoid for Scholes' case?
Also for Rooney, the 2nd may not be a yellow is he is someone else.

United 1 Liverpool 4

...... ......
Vidic should not be sent off, from replay, he was not the last man! There was another player running towards the goalmouth just ahead of him! Plus, Gerrard is also pulling Vidic!

Utd 2 Inter 0

Goals from Vidic and Ronaldo fired United into the Champions League quarter-finals at Old Trafford.

United were ahead after just four minutes when Vidic rose highest to head home Giggs' corner. And shortly after half time Ronaldo headed Wayne Rooney's cross into the back of the net to seal victory over Jose Mourinho's side.

Inter's Zlatan Ibrahimovic hit the bar with a header and substitute Adriano hit the inside of the post, but neither side fully managed to hit their stride.

Fulham 0 Utd 4

United's march towards a quintet of trophies continued apace at Craven Cottage as Carlos Tevez helped sweep aside Fulham and earn a place in the FA Cup semi-finals.

Tevez scored twice before half-time and his double helped explain why Sir Alex Ferguson's men might lift five bits of silverware this season - nine of his 12 goals have come in cups. Wayne Rooney added another just after the break to end any hopes Fulham had of a comeback in a breathless quarter-final, with Ji-sung Park adding a fourth before full-time.

Newcastle 1 Man U 2

Dimitar Berbatov fired Manchester United seven points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League, scoring the winner in a 2-1 victory at lowly Newcastle. The Bulgarian clinched the points with a 56th-minute strike, but United had to come from behind to re-establish their advantage over Chelsea and Liverpool with a game in hand.

There was jubilation on Tyneside when, with just nine minutes gone, Peter Lovenkrands ended Edwin Van der Sar's record of not having conceded a league goal since November 8 after the keeper failed to cling on to Jonas Gutierrez's shot. But it took the visitors just 11 minutes to restore parity through Wayne Rooney, and Berbatov ensured United's run of successive league wins stretched to 11 after Park Ji-Sung pounced on an error by Ryan Taylor.

The Carling Cup final was decided on penalties as Manchester United and Tottenham played out a goalless draw at Wembley. Ben Foster saved from Jamie O'Hara and David Bentley shot wide to give United the first domestic trophy of the season.
